East Mills’ Camden, Crouse unanimous first team on All-Corner teams

East Mills’ Mason Camden and Caitlyn Crouse both earned unanimous first team nods on the All-Corner Conference Boys and Girls Basketball teams released last week.
Camden was named to the first squad along with Bedford’s Quentin Dalton by all league coaches. Also named to the boys’ first team was Essex’s Isaiah Sholes, Stanton’s Brodee Sowers, Bedford’s Hayden Riedel and Sawyer Forney of Fremont-Mills.
Crouse, along with Bedford’s Aniya Hardee, were unanimous girls first team selections. Fremont-Mills’ Lana Alley and Brooklyn Weldon, East Mills’ Ava Grindle and Piper French from Stanton joined Crouse and Hardee on the first team.
Camden led the conference champion Wolverines and the league in scoring with 23.8 points per game. The sophomore was also second in the conference with 62 three-pointers.
Sholes was second in the league in rebounding (11.5) while averaging a team-best 17.8 points per game while Sowers led Stanton with 11.5 rebounds and 13.1 points per game.
Forney put in 12.4 points per game while hitting a league-high 70 three-pointers.
On the girls side, Crouse was second in the conference with 13.8 points per game and Grindle led the league with 9.5 rebounds per game while chipping in 8.8 points per game.
French won the league scoring title averaging 14 points per game.
Alley was the conference champion Knights’ leading scorer (13.2 per game) and rebounder (8.1 per game). Weldon, a freshman, scored 11.1 points per game while grabbing 100 steals.
East Mills’ Beau Burdic, Cooper Hagen and Loycee Palmer earned second team honors along with Griswold’s Amanda Houser and Carsyn Adams and Fremont-Mills’ Reese Gute and Ander Langille.
