Lourdes rallies in fourth quarter to knock off Wolverines

Lourdes Central Catholic used a 13-3 fourth quarter run to rally past East Mills 42-37 in boys basketball at the Mid-American Shootout in Council Bluffs Saturday morning.
The Wolverines (3-3, 2-1 in the Corner Conference) led 34-29 heading into the fourth quarter but could not hold off the Knights’ rally.
Miles Poppleton paced Lourdes with 12 points.
Mason Camden scored 16 points and Jackson Embree 12 to lead East Mills.

East Mills 48
East Mills dropped its second straight game in a 52-48 setback to Riverside in non-conference boys basketball Thursday.
Riverside led 23-22 at the half but the Bulldogs outscored the Wolverines 30-25 after halftime in the win.
Peyton Amdor led Riverside with 15 points. Dawson Henderson and Owen Fenner added 11 points each.
Mason Camden led three Wolverines in double-figures with 17 points. Jackson Embree added 11 points and Caleb Urban 10.

East Mills 36
Bedford outscored East Mills 34-21 after halftime in a 57-36 victory over Bedford in Corner Conference boys basketball last Tuesday in Malvern.
Cal Peterman recorded a double-double to lead the Bulldogs with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Brody King added 15 points.
Mason Camden scored 16 points to lead East Mills.
