Ramirez Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its CSC Academic All-District volleyball Team, and Buena Vista Universitysophomore Merced Ramirez landed a spot on this year’s list. Ramirez is a 2024 Red Oak High School graduate.
Student-athletes are nominated by their school’s Athletics Communications office with a maximum total of four individuals eligible. An individual must have started in at least 90 percent of the team’s overall matches played this season or have played in at least 66 percent, maintained an overall cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and be at least a sophomore in academic standing.
A combined total of 32 women’s and men’s student-athletes from across the American Rivers Conference were recognized on the team.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
