Wolverines’ offense goes cold in 48-25 loss

Lauren Benedict poured in 28 points for Lourdes Central Catholic in a 48-25 victory over East Mills in girls basketball at the Mid-American Shootout in Council Bluffs Saturday.
Caitlyn Crouse scored 11 points to lead East Mills.
The Wolverines head into the holiday break with a record of 5-2 overall, including a 3-0 record in the Corner Conference.

Riverside outscored East Mils 31-18 after halftime to pull away in a 53-24 victory Thursday.
Sydney Somers paced Riverside with 12 points and Kayden Schnack and Adaline Martens added eight points each.

Caitlyn Crouse’s 12 points led East Mills in a 38-30 victory over Bedford in Corner Conference girls basketball last Tuesday.
Caroline Simmons scored 11 points and Aniya Hardee added eight to lead Bedford.
