Iowa Public television ranked tops in the nation

JOHNSTON — Iowa Public Television’s KDIN is the most-watched public television station in the country, according to Nielsen Media Research and TRAC Media Services (February 2012).       

KDIN, part of Iowa Public Television’s statewide network of stations, ranked first among public television stations nationwide in diary whole-week cumes.  

“With ever-increasing options on television today, we’re honored to learn that viewers are using our services in such strong numbers,” said Daniel Miller, general manager of Iowa Public Television.  “Viewers are responding to our coverage of local events, quality arts and science programs, and trusted public affairs offerings.”
