Letter to | the Editor

To the Editor:

On behalf of the First Baptist Church food pantry, I would like to let everyone know how much we appreciate all the support you have given us. It has enabled us to continue to be there for the people of Montgomery County who need assistance with food, clothing, etc.

Whether you gave a large donation or a small one, it means so much and goes so far when the community works together to make things happen.

We appreciate the local businesses that have made donations to us; to the service clubs who have been so supportive; and for the area churches for their donations of food, money, hats, gloves, mittens, quilts, etc. The gardeners who shared their extra produce and fruits were great. Maybe you are one who saves your plastic grocery sacks for us and that is much appreciated. When we all work together, much can be accomplished.
