To the Editor:

What will happen if Mueller is fired?

As the nation watches to see if President Trump fires Special Counsel Robert Mueller, activists across the country are gearing up for a nationwide response. Thousands of people have signed up to rally in more than 700 locations if the president fires Mueller. Iowa is no different. We are already making contingency plans for a peaceful protest in Red Oak.

If Mueller is fired before 2 p.m. local time any day of the week, the Red Oak rally will begin at 5 p.m. that day. If he is fired after 2 p.m., our rally will take place the following day at noon.

WHAT: Rally Opposing Mueller Firing

WHO: Jan Norris, Sarah Smith, and Southwest Iowa Indivisible

WHERE: Fountain Square Park, Downtown Red Oak, Iowa 51566

INFORMATION: NobodyIsAbovetheLaw.org -- #NotAboveTheLaw

A call to protest will be sent the day of the rally with additional details, including a timeline of events regarding the Russian investigation.

We call on Senator Joni Ernst, Senator Charles Grassley, and Congressman David Young to do everything in their power to prevent President Donald Trump from firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Americans deserve full and truthful answers to ensure the security and sanctity of our election system is never compromised again. We can only do that with a full, thorough investigation, free from interference.
