Mary Ann Magneson, 85

Mary Ann Magneson, 85, of Red Oak, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak.

Mary Ann was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Red Oak, to Ragnar and Edith (Holmberg) Farnum. She married Delano I. Magneson Oct. 3, 1947 in Wallin.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delano on Sept. 21, 1998 and brother, Robert Farnum.

Mary Ann is survived by two children, Judy Jarrett-Duvall of Independence, Mo. and Stephen Magneson of Fredericksburg, Va.; a brother, Ronald Farnum of Red Oak; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 24 at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak with Rev. Dr. Eric Kutzli, officiating.
