RED OAK— Both Red Oak basketball teams were in action at home Monday night.

Boys' Basketball

Red Oak 77, Villisca 50

Red Oak jumped out to a nine-point lead after the first quarter and maintained a solid lead throughout the game. It was Red Oak's first win since Jan. 6.

For Villisca, it's their second straight loss. The Blue Jays lost to East Mills in the semifinals of the Corner Conference Tourney, last Thursday.

Girls' Basketball

Kuemper Catholic 80, Red Oak 23

Kuemper Catholic picked up their third win in a row in the game against Red Oak.

The game was a make up date from Jan. 10.

Stanton 46, Nishnabotna 15

The Corner Conference tournament champions won their first game since Friday night's final.

Kadie Subbert led the Viqueens with 11 points.
