Montgomery County YMCA hosting Mystery Drop

The Montgomery County Family YMCA is hosting a Mystery Drop event Sunday, Oct. 23, at the sale arena at Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

About 300 squares will be sold and layed out on the arena floor and a “mystery animal” will “drop” on a square. The owner of the square landed on will win $5,000 and if the owner is present at the event, they will win another $500.

Activities begin at noon with a lunch provided by the Mills-Montgomery County Cattleman’s Association and served by the Montgomery County Family YMCA Auxiliary Club members.

The mystery animal will be set loose at 2 p.m.

Additional activities include music and the Red Oak Optimist Bounce House.

All proceeds benefit the YMCA Endowment Fund Program - “Our Future is in Your Hands.”
