Amos, Burton win primaries
Unofficial Primary Election results have been announced in Montgomery County.
In the District 3 Supervisors Primary, Bryant Amos won the Republican nomination with 57 votes. Incumbent Randy Cooper received 45 votes.
In the District 5 Supervisors race, candidate Jill Cooper dropped out of the race and endorsed challenger Alex Burton, though she remained on the ballot. Burton received 92 votes to secure the Republican nominaton. Cooper received 15 votes.
In other local results, Montgomery County Sheriff Jon Spunaugle ran unopposed for the Republican nomination. He received 330 votes. There were five write-ins.
Jill Ozuna secured the Pepublican nomination for Montgomery County Auditor, running unopposed. Ozuna received 308 votes and there were four write-ins.
