Area agencies tackle liquid nitrogen spill at NEW Coop

Red Oak Fire Dept, New Cooperative, Iowa DNR, and the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency are handling a liquid nitrogen spill at the New Cooperative in Red Oak.
DNR is currently on-site and examining to see if the product reached the Nishnabotna River.
The only potential hazard to the community would be if it reached the main river stream. Further information will be released from the Iowa DNR.
