Dollen receives award for heroism during tornado

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy Sgt. Todd Dollen was honored with a Life Saving Award  for his actions on May 21. Dollen, right, was presented the award by Montgomery County Sheriff Jon Spunaugle. Dollen was on the scene at Hacklebarney Park performing evacuation operations when the tornado came through the park, and helped evacuate an unaware camper to safety. Dollen later safely rode out the storm inside his vehicle when a fallen tree prevented him from taking shelter in a building.
