Eastern Avenue reopens

The Eastern Avenue reconstruction project is completed.
Red Oak Street Superintendent Chris Baird said the road was reopened Aug. 15, and seeding took place on Aug. 18.
Baird said he was pleased that the project is completed and the road is reopened.
 “It’s been a long process, and we appreciate the people dealing with us through a hard project. It’s worth it in the long run to have a nice project,” Baird said.
Also, Baird said if anyone has concerns or issues with their yards they feel needs attention, to address them now.
“We’d rather have them contact us now rather than wait until the spring. Anyone with issues in their yards can contact Red Oak City Hall at 623-6510.”
