Red Oak Rotary members honored

The members of the Red Oak Rotary Club dedicate countless hours throughout the year, serving the community with generosity, compassion, and commitment. Rotary members never seek recognition, though sometimes their dedication warrants it. Each year, the club is proud to recognize members whose service exemplifies the Rotary’s motto: Service above self. The following are the club-nominated award recipients for 2026, pictured from left: Emily Martin, recipient of the Spark Plug award in recognition for the energy given to other members, projects and events within the club; Kristie White, recipient of the Rotarian of the Year award in recognition of distinguished service, loyalty and devotion to the ideals of Rotary; Carrie Shalters, recipient of the Positive Image award in recognition of significant contributions enhancing the club’s image and reputation; and Anne Anderson, recipient of the Unsung Hero of the Year award in recognition of her consistent and quiet contributions to the club.
