Nodaway death under investigation

NODAWAY - At 11:20 a.m. Saturday, June 20, Kathy Pafford, of Nodaway, called the Adams County Sheriff's Office to report a death. Her son, 44-year-old Allen Pafford, was found deceased at the scene.
An autopsy performed Monday ruled the death a homicide.
According to a press release from the Iowa Department of Public Safety, "officials belive this is an isolated incident and there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger."
An investigation is currently underway by the sheriff's office, the Iowa DPS and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
