Four teens from Stanton’s Boy Scout Troop 76 achieved their Eagle Scout Awards – the highest honor in scouting. The teens spent months completing service projects for Stanton to receive the honor.
From left, Matthew Hanson, 17, prepared an identification board for the in town cemetery; Dalton Larson, 17, painted the benches in downtown; Matthew Osher, 17, painted the iron fence around the cemetery; Neil Peterson, 18, installed the sound system at the community center.
These scouts were in the same troop since kindergarten and their leaders, families and the community helped their celebrate their achievements Sunday afternoon.
