Area students receive scholarships from Buena Vista University

STORM LAKE – Two area students have received scholarships from Buena Vista University for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Arinda Abbuhl from Red Oak received the President’s and Trustee Nominee Scholarships. She was also named a Dean’s Fellow and will participate in the Honors Program at BVU. Arinda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Abbuhl, plans to major in biology.

Andrew Soden from Red Oak received the Merit Scholarship and a Music Scholarship. He was also named a Dean’s Fellow and will participate in the Honors Program. Andrew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Soden, plans to major in computer science.
