Wesley Erickson of Stanton took the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight.
On May 7, Erickson flew to Dulles Airport and rode a motor coach to the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C.
He took a visual tour of the Capitol and visited the Korean, Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials. He also visited the Arlington National Cemetery and saw the Changing of the Guard, the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier and the Iwo Jima Memorial.
Erickson flew free of charge as a way for the organization and its supporters to say “thank you” for his service.
