Leininger to speak at SHCC

The annual meeting of the Stanton Historical Society will be at the Swedish Heritage and Cultural Center in Stanton, 410 Hilltop Ave., Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Saundra Leininger, Executive Director of the French Icarian Colony Foundation of Corning. She will speak on the history of the colony and will explain the Foundation's plans to develop a living history museum on the grounds. The Stanton Swedish Heritage and Cultural Center is open April-October, 1-4 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday. For more information call 829-2840.
