Live Healthy walk to take place Saturday

RED OAK—The Annual “Live Healthy Iowa” Fun Walk will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the Montgomery County Family YMCA.

Participants will have the option to either go outside to walk/run a predetermined two mile course in the neighborhood surrounding the YMCA or they can complete the two miles on the YMCA’s indoor track.

Registration forms will be available at the YMCA’s customer service desk that day only. The walk is open to anyone that wishes to participate and there is no charge.

Participants will be able to complete the “Fun Walk” between the hours of 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. on April 21.

Participants in the Montgomery County “Live Healthy Iowa” program will be eligible for a drawing of one $20 and one $10 Red Oak Chamber/Industry Buck Certificate.

All participants will be eligible for a drawing of two $25 Y-Buck Certificates.

The drawing for the certificates will be held that afternoon after completion of the walk.
