Fire Reports

Volunteer fire fighters from Mills County and surrounding areas responded to a field fire located at the intersection of 287th and Cary Road Saturday Sept. 8. At the time of the report, no buildings were damaged, but several acres of corn fields were burnt. The cause of the fire is believed to be from a combine that was harvesting corn.

Incident Reports

On Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of E. Summit St. in Red Oak for a criminal mischief incident. Ricky Todd Hall reported the back window of his 2011 Dodge Caravan work vehicle was shattered out. At the time of the report, the incident was still under investigation.
