Sports Calendar: June 12

It's another busy night for baseball and softball teams around the area.

Both Red Oak baseball and softball teams will be on the road Thursday evening in conference action when they face off against St. Albert.

It will be a JV/varsity doubleheader for the baseball team, while the softball team plays a varsity doubleheader. Both doubleheaders start at 5:30 p.m. in Council Bluffs.

In Corner Conference action, Stanton faces Clarinda Academy for a JV/Varsity doubleheader, which starts at 5 p.m. in Clarinda.

The Essex baseball and softball teams will be home to face off against CAM. The doubleheader starts at 6 p.m. with softball.

Both East Mills teams will hit the road as they face off against Sidney. The doubleheader is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.

In Pride of Iowa action, Southwest Valley goes to Afton to play East Union. The JV/varsity doubleheaders are scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.

Finally, the Griswold softball team hosts A-H-S-T as the game starts at 6 p.m.
