Herzberg attempted to return to the eastbound lane, but there was not sufficient time for him to move before the left side of his rake and tractor were struck by the semi-truck. She crossed the westbound lane of traffic, entered the north ditch, striking the drive to the residences and went airborne over the drive before stopping upon impact with the east side of a drainage ditch. Sandell sustained minor abrasions and bruising. She refused medical treatment. The Buick sustained $7,000 damage and is a total loss. There were no citations issued and the investigation is complete.
