Sherman following the path of biblical underdog

 Dear Red Oak Community:

Once again, Davey and Goliath have started. Jedd Sherman was a very fine and respected man in Spirit Lake High School.

You talk about kids bullying others. Here are two grown men, both very well educated, with one man’s ego and jealousies trying to destroy another’s reputation.

Goliath, you are in charge of the Red Oak district. If you only knew how much Davey is well-liked by all of the kids of Spirit Lake and Red Oak. How can your bullying be any different than your students? 

At Spirit Lake High School, I attended many basketball games. This man Davey had many kids of all ages follow him through the gym. I asked a lady what was going on; she stated it was Jedd Sherman, the principal, who was very well liked by all except another superintendent that was giving hi, trouble. Just as your superintendent is doing now.

Does the school board give evaluations to the superintendent? Or do they just think he’s 100 percent their man? A very highly paid man. 

If you fine folks of Red Oak are true people, you won’t let Goliath rule as he does.

I lived in Okoboji for five years and returned to Clarinda to be with family and my lawn business of 33 years. Don’t let this repeated closed door [meetings] scandal ruin Mr. Sherman.
