Please show respect for cemetery decorations

 I have lived all of my life in Red Oak. I write this letter with a very sad and disappointed heart as my passed away five years ago and I visit the cemetery every day faithfully. 

Every time I visit my wife’s grave I try to place something new and beautiful on her grave to show how beautiful she was and to remind myself of the small things she enjoyed. 

Unfortunately, and to someone’s or some people’s sick joke or need, so far six – SIX – things have disappeared off her grave.

A few years ago my daughter’s son’s grave had a wreath with her son’s name on it disappear. That’s called just sick.

I know that writing this letter probably will not stop whoever is doing this, but I just felt it needed to be addressed because the person or persons that are doing this aren’t just doing a crime. They are mocking and dishonoring the memory of a loved one. 

I beg and plead with whoever is doing this, please stop. My wife’s memory deserves respect.
