Sports Calendar: June 17

Here's a look at the area baseball and softball games taking place for Wednesday.

The Red Oak softball team hits the road once again as they play a JV/varsity doubleheader in Council Bluffs versus Abraham Lincoln. The doubleheader starts at 5:30 p.m.

Both Stanton teams play make-up games for Wednesday evening. The baseball team goes on the road as they play Lenox. It will be just varsity as they play at 6 p.m. The softball team will be home as they host Southwest Valley. Varsity will play first at 6 p.m.

In other conference action, the Essex baseball team hits the road for a JV/varsity doubleheader against AHSTW. The first game starts at 6 p.m. in Avoca.

Both Griswold teams will be home Wednesday evening for JV/varsity doubleheaders against Audubon. The doubleheaders kick off with the JV teams at 6 p.m.
