ACCIDENTS

• On Jan. 2, at 9:41 a.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two vehicle accident at the intersection of North Broadway and West Cherry streets. Dominick Yzaguirre, 24, Lenox, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu owned by Reyes Castillo, Lenox, was traveling south on Broadway behind a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup driven by John Davis, 46, Villisca. The Davis vehicle stopped for traffic and was struck by the Yzaguirre vehicle. Damage to the Davis vehicle was about $1,000, and damage to the Yzaguirre vehicle was about $3,500. There were no injuries, and Yzaguirre was cited for no insurance and driving while driver’s license suspended.
