Bennye Savala, 81

Bennye Sue Savala, 81, passed away at her home in Red Oak on Oct. 16, 2026.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1945, in Des Moines, to Mary Migneault and Benjamin Gunn.
Bennye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Savala; and one grandson.
She is survived by her three children, Jeff Gustafson of Clarinda; Joel Gustafson of Atlantic; and Joni Gustafson of Essex; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and another on the way.
Celebration of Life Gathering took place on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026 at First Christian Church, Red Oak.
