Nominees needed for Red Oak Hall of Fame

New members of the Red Oak Sports Hall of fame will be inducted at the Homecoming Pep Rally and introducing them at the Homecoming game on Oct. 2.

In 2008, Sara (Wood) Van Vart (volleyball, softball, track, and basketball) and Jim Boose (football, basketball, and track) were inducted.

The Hall of Fame currently has 68 inductees that have been voted in since it’s creation in 1989.

The following criteria is used for the nomination process: must be a Red Oak High School athlete, Red Oak High School coach, or sportswriter. Athletes must have been graduated for at least 10 years and have been a stand out multi-sport athlete.
