Diana "Diane" Gregg, 79

Diana Dolores “Diane” Gregg, 79, Red Oak, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 11, 2025, after an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 6, 1945, in Clarinda, the daughter of Frederick and Geraldine (Loghry) Heuer, and graduated from Red Oak Community High School in 1963.
Diane worked as an accountant throughout her life, including many years with her mother at Heuer Accounting and later as a successful business owner. She married Mark Gregg on Oct. 31, 1981, in Estes Park, Colo., and together they raised a blended family. Their life journey took them to Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and California before retiring in Red Oak in 2023.
Diane will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful laugh, and love of family. She enjoyed baking, reading, sewing, and cherished time with her coffee friends and wintering in Arizona.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and grandson, Harly Sellers.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Gregg; children, David (Stephanie) Gregg, Shellie Ruge, Mark (Bobbie) Gregg, and Shad (Jennifer) Sellers; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at the new location of LeRette Funeral Chapel at 525 E. Ratliff Road in Red Oak, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. We request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Diane’s memory to the First United Methodist Church or The Red Oak Fire Department.
