John Paul “Bud” Goddard, 87, Villisca, formerly of Stanton, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Bud was born March 12, 1938, in Sioux Falls, S.D., the son of George and Wyona (Kinns) Goddard.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Goddard of Villisca; children, Randy Goddard of Stanton; Deb Hoover of Moorland; and Pam Hanson of Loudon, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren;.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Mamre Cemetery in Stanton. Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026, at LeRette Funeral Chapel.
