Martha Walter, 82

Martha Elaine Walter, 82, Stanton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.
Martha was born June 12, 1943, in Villisca, the daughter of Albert and Olive (Hill) Lee.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Val Gene Walter.
Survivors include her children, Douglas Val Gene Walter of Humble, Texas; Denise Larson of Clinton; Derrick Walter of Villisca; and Darrell Walter of Red Oak; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak.
