Richard Blackburn, 86, Red Oak, passed away Jan. 9, 2024, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak.
Richard LaVern Blackburn, the son of Robert and Ruby (Selders) Blackburn, was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Shenandoah.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; daughter, Diane Briggs; and one great-granddaughter.
Richard is survived by three children, Terry Blackburn of Lincoln, Neb.; Rick Blackburn of Red Oak; and Cheryl Marsden of Papillion, Neb.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
