Scott E. Billings, 59

Scott E. Billings, 59, of Omaha, Neb., passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, surrounded by dear friends and family.
Scott was born on April 29, 1966, in Red Oak, to LaVon and Shirley (Munson) Billings. He grew up in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1984. He went on to attend Creighton University, earning his BSBA in 1988 and MBA in December 1990. On Aug. 13, 1994, Scott married Molly E. O’Gorman at St. John’s Parish Catholic Church on Creighton’s campus.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Molly; and their children, Nicholas (Sydney), Elizabeth, and William. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Billings; father-in-law, Terry O’Gorman; brother-in-law, William “Todd” (Nam); brother-in-law, John (Eleanor) and their children Emma and Maya; brother-in-law Mark (Jennifer) and their children Elise, Luke, Jack; and his cousins, Cristin (Jason) Westbrook and Cynthia (Ross) Cochran, along with their children, Cole and Connor.
He was preceded in death by his father, LaVon Billings; mother-in-law, Mary Lou O’Gorman; still birth son, Michael; and beloved aunts and uncles, Bob and Colleen Billings, and Curt and Charlene Cole.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Leo’s Catholic Church on Tuesday. July 1, 2025.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with lunch immediately following.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Creighton University, St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Gravois Mills Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
