STANLEY PEDERSON, 94

Stanley Henning Pederson, 94, Red Oak, passed away peacefully on Nov. 30, 2024. A devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Stanley touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.
A proud Air Force veteran, Stanley served his country during the Korean War. His career in food service spanned decades, beginning in the military and continuing at Creighton University before he became the owner of the former Gold Crown Inn in Red Oak. Known for his friendly demeanor and genuine interest in others, Stanley had a gift for turning customers into lifelong friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate, LuRay; daughters,  Sonja Keith and Leslie Smith; and grandson, Brock. He is survived by his sons Shayne (Amye) and Lucas (Cristina), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
In accordance with his wishes, Stanley has been interred alongside LuRay at Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Neb. He requested that no formal services be held but encouraged those wishing to honor him to make donations to their favorite animal rescue facility.
Stanley’s legacy of love and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind.
