Tommy “Tom” Bates, 66

Tommy Odel “Tom” Bates, 66, Macedonia, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home.
Tom was born May 26, 1959, in Red Oak, the son of James and Joyce (Keast) Bates.
Preceding him in death were his parents.  
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bates of Macedonia; children, Andrew Bates of Sandpoint, Idaho; Branden Stoural of Ord, Neb.; and Kimberly Chupp of Bozeman, Mont.; and nine grandchildren.  
Services were held Monday, March 30, 2026, at Fellowship Church. Memorials are suggested to the Macedonia Fire Department.
LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.
