Virginia Lea “Ginny” Houston, 69, Omaha, Neb., passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.
Virginia was born Oct. 2, 1953, in Red Oak, the daughter of Gordon and Betty (Brown) McMullen.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Jason Putnam of Bennington, Neb.; and Trevor Putnam of Louisville, Neb.; stepchildren, Kevin Houston of Omaha, NE and Kris Bowman of Omaha, Neb.; and many grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held 11 Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Henderson Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
Services are under the direction of the family with Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak assisting with cremation services.
