Officials take the Oath

The start of a new year, and the aftermath of an election, led to a swearing-in ceremony last week when local officials took their oath of office. Among those pledging to uphold the constitution and perform their duties were Sheriff Joe Sampson, Red Oak Township Trustee Donna DeVries, West Township Trustee Larry Heuer, and West Township Trustee David Gohlinghorst.
