Quartets to perform at local church over the weekend
The Journeymen Quartet will kick off the weekend Saturday, July 14, at 7 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, with a performance.
The Journeymen Quartet is a Southern Gospel group singing more than 55 years. They make their home in West Virginia, but travel the nation ministering through music.
Sunday morning, July 15, a fairly new Southern Gospel Quartet, “Reconciled,” will perform at First United Methodist Church during the service at 10:30 a.m.
“Reconciled” is formed by members Tim and Terra Marsden, Jim Dunbar and Rev. Mike Harvey and accompanied by Pat Dunbar on piano.
“Reconciled” is best known for their Good Friday concert at the Wilson Performing Arts Center.
The public is invited to attend both concerts.
The First United Methodist Church is located at 600 E. Hammond St., in Red Oak.
