ACCIDENTS

• On Jan. 29, at 7:45 a.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and 6th Street. Kenneth Hamman, 65, Red Oak, driving a 2016 Chevrolet K150 pickup, was traveling west on Hillcrest Drive and approaching the intersection. Aundrea Clay, 27, Red Oak, driving a 2009 Jeep Compass owne by Shelley Maranville, Red Oak, was traveling north on 6th Street and turning onto Hillcrest Drive when her vehicle struck the Hamman vehicle. According to the report, snow and ice were a contributing factor to the accident. Damage to each vehicle was about $2,500. There were no injuries, and Clay was cited for no valid driver’s license.
