ARRESTS

The Red Oak Police Department and/or Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents with arrests between January 6 and January 12.

Raymond Lee Briggs, Red Oak, arrested on Jan. 13 for public intoxication, bond: $300.

Randall Aron Lane, Red Oak, arrested on Jan. 12 for disorderly conduct, bond: $300.

Sandy Lee Borem, Red Oak, arrested on Jan. 12 for domestic assault.

Brien Russell Black, Emerson, arrested on Jan. 10 for theft, bond: $600.

RED OAK POLICE

On Jan. 9 Rebecca Lee Whited of Red Oak reported her vehicle had been damaged. An unknown person(s) had scratched all four sides and hood of the vehicle. Damage is estimated at $450. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red Oak Police Department at 623-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-432-1001.

On Jan. 8 Steven Ratcliff of Red Oak reported a robbery. Between Jan. 4-7 an unknown person(s) removed a Dewalt cordless drill ($285), Dewalt hammer drill ($179) and a Dewalt sawzall ($100) from the garage/shop area. There was no indication of forced entry at the time of the report. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red Oak Police Department at 623-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-432-1001.

SHERIFF'S REPORT

On Jan. 8 the sheriff's office conducted an investigation into two reported burglaries, one in the 1700 block of K Ave. and one in the 2000 block of 190th St. in rural Montgomery County. Once the perpetrators forced their way into the buildings, they created several thousands of dollars damage by breaking out several, if not all of the windows in the buildings/homes, contents on the inside were strewn about and damaged. Several items were stolen from the buildings. The sheriff's office also conducted an investigation of criminal mischief at St. Clair Cemetery in rural Montgomery County. The incident involved a car running over a headstone and becoming lodged. Once freed the vehicle left the cemetery at a high rate of speed and striking a gate and fence. As a result of the investigations, the following arrests were made and charged as follows:

Ryan Michael McDoughall, 29, of Red Oak, arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

Lawrence August III, 20, of Red Oak, arrested and charged with burglary.

Mallori Marie Ferguson, 24, of Red Oak, arrested and charged with burglary.

The individuals were transported to the jail and held in lieu of $5,000 cash bond. The sheriff's office was assisted by the Red Oak Police Department.
