SHERIFF’S REPORTS
On Nov. 10 the sheriff’s office arrested Edward E. Ramsey, 46, of Villisca on the charge of assault, following an incident in Villisca. He was released on $300 bond.
On Nov. 8 the sheriff’s office arrested Alfred Vernon Mutchler, 29, of Shenandoah on a Montgomery County warrant for theft. He is being held on $10,000 cash bond.
On Nov. 8 the sheriff’s office arrested Seth Allen Simmons, 24, of Shenandoah, after a traffic stop in Stanton. He was charged with driving while barred. He is being held on $2,000 bond.
On Nov. 5 the sheriff’s office arrested Sara Anne Kier, 21, of Red Oak for assault, following an incident in the 300 block of Nuckols St., Red Oak. She is being held on $300 bond.
On Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 an unknown person(s) entered onto the residence located 2054 U Ave. north of Villisca and opened the door on the horse trailer located on the property and took a Clinton Anderson riding saddle valued at $2,300. RED OAK POLICE
On Nov. 6 the Red Oak Police Department is asking for assistance into the investigation of three heaters that have been reported stolen. The three heaters were delivered to a residence (later identified as being unoccupied) in the 400 block of W. Washington Ave. The items were originally to be delivered to the same numerical address only on east Washington Ave. The delivery company returned to the west Washington Ave. address, only to find the items were gone from the porch. The Red Oak Police Department is asking for assistance in the investigation. If anyone observed a person(s) take three boxes from the porch, they are asked to contact the police department at 623-6500 or crime stoppers at 800-432-1001.
