Accident Reports
On Dec. 15, at about 11:13 a.m., the Montgomery County Communications Center received a call of a single vehicle accident on 200th St. and Evergreen Ave. Upon arrival, deputies determined a white 1986 Pontiac owned and operated by Maxine Mary Wilkinson, 80, Emerson, was traveling westbound on 200th St. Wilkinson reported her steering wheel began to shake as she passed Evergreen Ave., causing her to lose control. Wilkinson stated it caused her to go into the south ditch where she was able to get the vehicle stopped. Upon arrival of Red Oak Rescue, Wilkinson and her passenger, Ruby Dorothy Warren, 92, Emerson, were safely removed from the vehicle and transported to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital for observation for possible injuries. Deputies estimate damages to the front of the Wilkinson vehicle to be $2,000.
