ACCIDENTS
• On Feb, 6, at 4:22 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated an accident at the intersection of Joy and 3rd streets. Ronald Lunsford, 57, Red Oak, driving a 2002 Dodge Durango, was traveling east on Joy Street and, according to the report, failed to yield at the yield sign at the intersection with 3rd Street. Jeanette Eggerss, 44, Red Oak, driving a 2019 Nissan Altima, was traveling south on 3rd Street and was broadsided by the Lunsford vehicle. Damage to the Eggerss vehicle was about $5,000, and damage to the Lunsford vehicle was about $3,000. Lunsford was cited for failing to yield at the yield sign.
