Red Oak boys golf team plays in L.C. Tournament

Red Oak shot a team score of 349 to finish in seventh place at the 14-team Lewis Central Golf Tournament at Fox Run Golf Course Thursday afternoon.
Nick Philby paced the Tigers with an 18-hole score of 84. Beau Boeye and Ian Medeiros both carded scores of 86, while Jake Reeve shot a 93, Danny Carlson a 96 and Dylan Berry a 101.
On Tuesday, April 14, the Tigers took part in a tournament at the American Legion Country Club in Shenandoah. The Tigers finished in fourth place with a team score of 343.
Boeye placed third in the individual competition with a 76. Philby fired an 85, while Reeve, Manderios, Carlson and Berry shot respective scores of 90, 93, 92 and 93.
