Red Oak celebrating prom Saturday at Red Coach Inn

 Red Oak Community High School students will enjoy a night in the Parisian twilight during prom on April 18 at the Red Coach Inn. 

Juniors at the high school will decorate for the dance Friday night. Adhering to the theme of “Parisian Twilight,” decorations will include colors such as black, blue, purple and gold. 

On Saturday, the walk-in will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m., with dinner beginning around 7:45 p.m. Students will be presented with a slideshow at around 8:30 p.m., followed by the coronation of the prom queen and king. 

Seniors Nolan Black, Sydney DiGiacomo, Christa Fichter, Tanner Gilliland, Dylin Keat, Logan LeRette, MaKayla LeRette, Jared Sherman, Micayla Taylor and Johanna Wessel have all been nominated to the prom court. Students will vote Wednesday for queen and king. 

Following these events, the dance will begin around 9 p.m. and last until around midnight.  Greg Brower will deejay the music and Hertzel Rahmani will be photographing the event.

The annual post prom party is scheduled from 12:30-5 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
