Red Oak coed basketball skills camp set for July
The Montgomery County Family YMCA, in partnership with the City of Red Oak Park and Tree Board, will be offering a Coed Skills Basketball Camp. This camp is open to youth that will have completed Kindergarten-11th grade during the current school year.
The camp will be under the direction of ROHS boys head coach Theo Fundermann and assistant coach Dan Pollock. The camp will focus on the fundamental skills of basketball - dribbling, passing and shooting.
Youth coaches are invited to attend to see the drills that Fundermann would like incorporated in the youth program.
The camp will take place at the Red Oak Community High School gymnasium July 8 – 10. The times for the age groups are as follows:
3rd – 5th grade: 5 – 6:30 p.m.

An early bird price discount is available to those that register by July 1.
Registration forms are available at the YMCA and you can register online at mcymca.com. Program financial assistance is also available to help offset the camp’s cost.
