Red Oak defeats Denison at Lucky Lanes
The Red Oak bowling teams continued to cruise along this season as they picked up wins against Denison-Schleswig Thursday at Lucky Lanes.
The boys team won 3,064-2,836, while the girls held on to get the win by one pin.
Leading the way for the boys was David Terry, who bowled a 279 second game to finish with a 500 series. Dylin Keat had a 433 series, while Hayden Berry had a 234 high game to get a 415 series.
Adam Zenor had a 405 series, including a 223 high game.
Ryan Plambeck finished with a 334 series, while Shane Majerus bowled a 327 series.
For the girls, Shaely Nowels was the top scorer, bowling a 356 series.
Kendra Hardy had a 343 series, while Brenna Craig finished with a 318.
Alexa Gilliland had a 313 series, while Jasmine Forward recorded a 308 and Breann Berkey scored a 304.
Red Oak is schedued to return to action Tuesday when the went to the Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs to play St. Albert.
