Red Oak golf continues through season

The Red Oak boys golf team finished 10th at the Trojan Tournament last Tuesday in Atlantic.

Ryan Plambeck had the top score with a 94. Mitch Hilder was two shots back with a 96, while Nolan Black finished with a 97.

Nick Carlson had a 100 and Gabe Nelson scored a 111.

Red Oak vs. Creston/Clarke

The Red Oak boys team finished third in the triangle meet against Creston and Clarke, last Monday.

Red Oak had a team score of 202. Creston won the meet.

Plambeck had the best score for the boys when he shot a 48. Hilder was one shot back with a 49. Both Carlson and Black shot 53’s, while Nick Leinen had a 56. Brandon Farnum finished with a 69.

The girls meanwhile were home as they were third in the triangle meet, finishing with a team score of 282.

Fellers led the team as she shot a 55. Perez had a 72, while Black had a 76 and Uhlenberg finished with a 79.

Both Red Oak teams competed in the Hawkeye Ten meet Monday.

The girls team competed at Harlan, while the boys were in Creston. Results weren’t available as of press time.
